What tapping an NFC review product does
An NFC review tag carries a link that a compatible phone can read at close range. The phone can then offer to open the destination. The tag does not write a review, choose a rating or bypass a website’s sign-in requirements.
Phone and connection requirements
NFC support depends on the phone model and its settings. You may need to unlock the phone, enable NFC or tap the notification. Try moving the phone’s NFC reading area closer to the tag and removing a thick case if needed. If the product includes a printed QR code, scan it with a compatible camera or QR reader as an alternative. An internet connection is required to load the linked page.
No SmarPlaque app is required to open the link. The destination may require an account or app. Customers must sign into a Google Account to leave a Google review.
Check the destination
A link-opening NFC tag is not the same service as a contactless payment transaction. Check the address displayed before opening a link and use the destination platform’s normal security precautions. Contact support if a product opens an unexpected or broken destination.
Free lifetime digital link changes
All our products offer free lifetime changes to their digital destination link. Email hi@smarplaque.com with your order number and the new link. This changes where the link leads; it does not change the printed artwork, wording, logo or physical product. We do not promise a fixed 24-hour completion time.
Invite honest feedback
Give customers the same opportunity to review regardless of their opinion. Do not offer incentives or ask only satisfied customers. A tap or scan makes the page easier to find; it does not guarantee a review or business result.
