How SmarPlaque NFC and QR products work

SmarPlaque connects a physical plaque, card or sticker to the online page you choose. Customers can tap with a compatible NFC phone or scan the printed QR code. The destination opens in their browser, so no SmarPlaque app is required. An internet connection is needed. Customers must sign in to Google to submit a Google review; other destinations may require their own account or app.

1. Choose the right format

Select a counter stand, wall plaque, card, sticker or custom product to suit where customers interact with your business. Product pages show the available sizes, materials and personalisation options.

2. Send your business details

Add your business name and destination link when ordering. Upload your logo where the product form allows it, or email the required files to hi@smarplaque.com with your order number after checkout.

3. Choose an optional design preview

A design proof is not included in the product price. Add the optional Design Preview & Approval Service for £0.90 if you would like to review the layout before printing. It includes an emailed preview and one revision. We normally email the preview within 1–2 business days after receiving your design details. If selected, we wait for your approval before printing.

4. Place it where customers can use it

Your physical product arrives programmed and ready to use. Place it at a reception desk, till, table, treatment room or another visible point after a completed customer interaction. Customers choose whether to tap or scan and then decide whether to leave feedback.

NFC and QR compatibility

• NFC tap: works with NFC-compatible phones when NFC is enabled.
• QR scan: provides a fallback for phones with a camera and QR scanning support.
• No SmarPlaque app: the chosen page opens in the customer's browser.

Where can the product link?

Depending on the product, the destination can be a Google review page, social profile, booking page, menu, website or another suitable URL. All our products offer free lifetime digital destination-link changes. This does not alter the printed design or physical product. Email hi@smarplaque.com with your order number and the new destination.

UK standard delivery is £2.95 below £100 and free from £100. Production normally takes 3–10 business days once your order details are complete and, if you selected the optional preview, your design is approved. UK transit normally takes a further 3–5 business days after dispatch. Waiting for customer details or approval adds to the total time. Read the shipping policy.
