Order preparation

Most SmarPlaque products are made or programmed to order. Please supply the requested business name, destination link and artwork when ordering, or email them to hi@smarplaque.com after purchase.

A design proof is not included in the product price. Add the optional Design Preview & Approval Service for £0.90 if you would like to review the layout before printing. It includes an emailed preview and one revision. We normally email the preview within 1–2 business days after receiving your design details. If selected, we wait for your approval before printing.

Production normally takes 3–10 business days once your order details are complete and, if you selected the optional preview, your design is approved. Orders awaiting required details or optional-preview approval remain on hold, so delayed replies delay dispatch.

Delivery charges

UK standard delivery costs £2.95 for orders under £100 and is free for orders of £100 or more. The charge shown at checkout is the price that applies to your order. International rates are calculated by destination and shown at checkout before payment.

Delivery times

UK standard delivery normally takes 3–5 business days after dispatch. The production time above is additional to transit. The optional preview and time spent waiting for your information or approval also add to the total time. These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates. International delivery times vary by destination and are shown at checkout where available.

We use tracked services where available and send tracking details in the shipping confirmation email. The carrier used depends on the parcel and destination. We do not dispatch on weekends or UK public holidays. During peak periods, production or carrier delays may extend these estimates.

Where we deliver

We deliver to the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of the European Union, the United States and Canada. Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout where your country is supported.

International delivery times

After dispatch, allow approximately 7–16 business days for Ireland and the rest of the European Union, and 8–22 business days for the United States and Canada. For personalised orders, add the production time above and, if selected, the optional preview and approval time. These are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates, and customs processing can extend them.

Taxes and duties on international orders

International prices are delivery duties paid (DDP). Any import duties and taxes are included in the total you pay at checkout, so there is nothing extra to pay when your parcel is delivered. For orders to the European Union, EU VAT is collected at checkout and paid through our IOSS registration.

Order changes and address accuracy

Check your delivery address and personalised details carefully. If you need to correct anything, email hi@smarplaque.com as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee changes after a design has been approved or an order has entered production.

Missing or damaged orders

If tracking has not updated, an order is overdue, or an item arrives damaged, email hi@smarplaque.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and explain the available replacement or refund options.
